The Piedmont Virginian's Blog

Serving and Celebrating America's Historic Heart

About us

The Piedmont Virginian is a quarterly journal of information and appreciation—of nature, place, and ways of life.
For the northern Piedmont region of Virginia—as attested by those who live and visit here—is a special place. Even those far away only familiar with its history must agree.

The magazine’s mission is to give voice to this special, even magical, place—in the hope that it remains so.

The magazine’s editorial platform therefore promotes:

* Historic preservation
* Open spaces
* Sustainable agriculture
* Country values
* Art + Entertainment
* The good life…

…and so much more.

The Piedmont Virginian is designed for citizens and businesses sharing these goals. Affinities, not simply geography, create the Piedmont’s unique regional identity.

  1. Dear Editor or Staff:
    Hoping that I might be able to offer content for your magazine or that perhaps you might think of a reason to do a feature on our virtual market. Our mission statement is 100% in line with your magazine’s. We could use more exposure, so that we can continue to promote the 30 farmers/producers we represent (which also represents over 3500 acres). thanks for any help you can lend. Laura (Market Manager/Loudoun Flavor)
